What I do to feel cleansed

What I do to feel cleansed.

It may be a day of drinking or a depressing day. But these smoothies and habits help me feel cleansed and refreshed.

Plenty of water, esp w lemon and cucumber. See my “weeks worth of healthy drinks” post

Kombucha

Green tea

Time outdoors

Or a yoga session

I also meditate or spend time reading a great book, like “Autobiography of a Yogi”, or Deepak Chopra’s “Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.”

If I’m feeling really bad, I lie down and listen to my favorite trance music, followed by a meditation. I really like all of Deepak Chopra’s meditations on YouTube.

And these two delicious smoothies:

Berry-nut-squash smoothie

Berry-nut-squash smoothie:

1/2 c frozen butternut squash

1/2 c berries

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 handful trail mix

1 can coconut water

Blend until smooth.

Carrot-apple smoothie:

2 carrots

1 Apple

1 inch piece of ginger

1 tbsp peanut butter

1 c coconut water

Blend until smooth
