This bread is delicious. It’s best fresh out of the oven, with a little bit of butter if you eat that. The taste is great. This bread has healthy ingredients, including gut-healthy ingredients. I would say it’s a 90/10 recipe, because I used a little bit of pancake mix in it. I don’t think that’s the end of the world, since the whole bread is full of healthy ingredients. (You can substitute the mix with 2 eggs or flax eggs and 1 tsp baking Soda, and 1 tsp baking powder.)
This bread has complex carbs, which provide a sustained source of energy. This means it will keep you full longer, and in turn, eat less. Complex carbs in the form of grains are also rich in B vitamins, vitamin E, trace minerals, fiber, unsaturated fatty acids, lecithin.
The yogurt has probiotics which are good for gut health. This can also contribute to weight loss.
If you sprinkle some berries over this bread, or have it with a berry smoothie, you are adding more vitamins and minerals, enzymes, antioxidants to prevent cancer and heart disease, and divers like cellulose, which keep intestines working properly. Also the combination of iron in the oats and vitamin c in the berries will create the optimal combination for the iron to be absorbed.
